The year was 1923 and sisters Carla and Christina Williams were feeling restless, they needed an adventure. They decided to meet each other at Coney Island in New York for a little fun. They sat on the beach together, talking and laughing, while planning their big family reunion that was coming up in a few months. Carla had even brought along a family photo album to look through and make sure they didn't forget to invite anyone. While sitting on the beach, they began to get very hot. So hot, in fact, they could no longer concentrate on the reunion. All they could think about was getting into the ocean. Carla said to Christina, "We can't do that, we're not dressed for it". Christina said "Are you sure?" and stood up and starting taking off some of those hot clothes. Carla was appalled, at first, but then started laughing out loud, stood up and joined her sister. They stripped down to their petticoats and charged into the water, much to the astonishment of the other beachgoers, but they just didn't care. They had their fun in the ocean and then quietly slipped back into their clothes, sat down and continued their party planning. It was a memory they laughed about for many years to come.
