Two Pommies on the Beach in Australia
Henry jokes that they’re two people running to the bakery to buy a loaf of bread!
There are lots of people watching. It’s taking place on the beach. There’s a husband and wife walking on the beach. They come often. Vittoria thinks the lady is the girlfriend, not the wife. They are running away from her father. He’s very jealous.
The man’s name is John and the lady’s called Isabel. They’re running so fast because the sand is hot. Then you hope a big wave rolls in to cool your feet off!
Afterwards, they might go somewhere to eat. Robert says they’ll enjoy playing on the beach and eating ice cream. Some people bring some food with them.
The couple are holding hands. They’ll get more sand than ice cream! It’s an old photo. There’s not one umbrella on the beach, and there are no children on the beach making sandcastles. Henry says he’s got ten children and they love the beach, and they get buckets of water. We hope there are no snakes there!
