There are two women waiting on a stagecoach getting ready to go out of town. Their names are Mary Anne or Mary Lou and Sue. Isaac thinks they look like twins but Hal says that they don't look anything alike. Dorothy does not think they get along but Isaac thinks they do. They are wearing traveling clothes with lots of fur and sad looking hats they got on sale-2 for 1! Lorine says that the wind is blowing the hats. They work in a saloon and they are from Baltimore. They are at the Alegany train station trying to find their way back home to Baltimore and they look kind of pitiful. They have parents and they look so pitiful. Isaac thinks they have brothers and sisters, but Dorothy says no bothers and sisters. They hear trains and they are patting their feet to music waiting for the train to come. The stagecoach comes pulled by horses. The horses see the hats and they get scared. The horses stop but the girls don't know whether to take the train or the stagecoach. Dorothy says they take the stagecoach but Wanda says Sue takes the train and Mary Anne takes the stagecoach and they meet up in Annapolis.
