What is this, a helicopter, a flying machine? She’s trying for outer space, attempting to fly a very early model airplane. That’s it. She could be having lessons. She needs them because of the equipment one has. It’s a dream, like a nightmare type. It’s hidden away in a garage somewhere. It’s in an airport. You can see the engine and the radiator. It’s out of an old movie in the early 30’s when flying just began. She’s trying hard to look comfortable, listening to the instructor. Her name is Marion. She doesn’t have a family. Maybe it’s her husband’s aeroplane. She’s well dressed for the occasion. It’s olden days. She’s going where ever she can get off the ground. “Will I be able to get down?” She has Buckley’s chance.
She goes to the end of the paddock, then turns around and comes back. She doesn’t even lift up. She says “I give up”, but she is enjoying herself. She’s happy. There’s always another day to do this. It’s her hobby. She does get it up in the air and she gets her licence. It’s all been made in Dad’s garage. She says “One day I will succeed.”
