In the month of February 1929, Loopy Lucy was a trail blazer. Lucy was attending a flight class taught by Amelia Earhart. Lucy was unsure if that class was for her. But Lucy was determined to finish the course to become a pilot.
Lucy was aware that her instructor was the famous woman who flew across the Atlantic ocean. She was determined to become a pilot even though her family was not well off and could not afford the pilot course. She worked at a diner to cover her tuition.
Her dedication and determination paid off when she graduated at the top of her class. She was elated when she received her pilots wings.
Loopy Lucy was an inspiration to many women in the 1920's.
