In New Jersey, 1933, a lady named Amelia Earhart decided to create an airplane. Her parents thought she was a tomboy with a big ego. But Amelia thought she could do anything like jump off a roof, which led to her spraining an ankle. But that didn't stop her. After she was done building the airplane, she was going to fly it and hope the breeze would keep her up. She decided to go fly over the water and land on a cliff at Long Island.
But she couldn't fly to Long Island, so instead she put her plane on a truck and drove all the way to Long Island to fly her plane. But when she got there she realized she didn't have a propeller. So she went out and looked for mechanic. She came upon a garage and met a mechanic named Carl Gabel.
When Amelia told Carl about her problem, he laughed at her and suggested to use old parts of motorcycle. But they couldn't make a propeller, so instead they tried to get the motorcycle to fly. But they needed wings to get the motorcycle to fly. But they couldn't make wings for the motorcycle so they gave up.
Maybe they shopuld try a boat next time.
