'Lets Twist Again'
When I was thin, I used to love dancing to it - like me...
Like a Ballerina
She's wearing a high heel.
With such a heel you'll surely break it.
She's young , probably around 18 years old.
She's called Josephine Zammit.
She's a dancer
Maybe someone comes along and fancies you.
The crowd are enjoying her dancing.
When she was young she learnt Ballet at Mrs. Poutiatine.
She had a long Evening Dress -
full of colours.
We only had her(Mrs. Poutiatine) in Sliema.
She looks good, considering her age.
If you love dance, it stays in your heart.
There was a man who used to buy us drinks - whisky and brandy.
We had a bar at home.
My sister and I used to have a drink.
My father used to travel for work on ships
it depends where he's going -
When he went to India, we thought he had died -
Poor Love !
Josephine lives in Hamrun.
It looks gorgeous !
She enjoys sweets
Her legs are made for dancing, her tummy not !
We used to dance so much in Carneval -
Rabat, at l-Astoria, the band, we were a whole gang.
They're playing
The sound of the Band
There's whistling to the Band.
It was Autumn, since they're wearing sleeves.
They get engaged to a guy.
She's panting because she's tired.
When I go out dancing everything gets better -
even in the wheelchair.

Jekk thobb iz-zfin, tibqa fik.
Kien jigi ragel jixtrilna xi drinks - whisky u brandy.
Kellna bar fid-dar, id-dar stess.
Jien u ohti konna niehdu drink.
Il-papa kien jahdem fuq il-vapur
skond fejn kien seer -
Meta kien mar l-India, darba hsibnieh li miet - Miskin !
Josephine toqghod il-Hamrun
Ara kemm hu sabih !
Thobb il-helu
Saqajha taz-zfin, imma zaqqa le.
Kemm konna nizfnu l-Karnival -
Ir-Rabat, l_Astoria, il-kazin, konna guy shieh.
Qed idoqqu
Il-Hoss tal-Banda
Hemm it-tisfir mal Banda.
Kien il-Mezzutemp, ghax bil-kmiem.
Jitarsu ma xi guvni.
Tibda tonfoh ghax tghajja.
Meta nohrog nizfen kollox jghaddili -
anke bil wheelchair ...
