Anne Basting

Basting is a Professor of English at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She is an artist and author of many articles and four books, including Creative Care: A Revolutionary Approach to Dementia and Elder Care (2020), The Penelope Project: An arts-based odyssey to change elder-care (2016), and Forget Memory: Creating Better Lives for People with Dementia (2009). Basting is an internationally recognized speaker on the arts & aging, and creative community building.
