Interim Managing Director

Kate Britton, former TimeSlips Chief Operating Officer, is thrilled to rejoin the TimeSlips team as Interim Managing Director.

Kate has over twenty years’ experience in non-profit leadership. Prior to her work with TimeSlips, she was the Vice President of Development at the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, a global non-profit organization instilling an entrepreneurial mindset in youth from under-resourced communities. While there, she consistently exceeded fundraising goals, secured new national partners, and spearheaded best practice implementation. Kate began her non-profit career with Discovery Creek Children’s Museum, an organization providing hands-on environmental science education programs to early learners.

Kate is an authentic leader, known for getting things done. She believes in fostering high-performing teams, creating efficient infrastructure, and building robust partnerships. Additionally, she is an avid hiker, live music enthusiast, and longtime student of raqs sharqi dance, but her greatest love is adventuring with her husband, two daughters, and two giant puppies.
