- Lead Facilitator Workshops that certify staff and volunteers in Creative Communication and Creative Storytelling
- Work virtually or in person with organizations in your area
- Join a growing network of trainers dedicated to transforming care through creativity
How to Become an Independent Trainer
Join a growing network of trainers dedicated to transforming care through creativity
- You must be a Certified Facilitator*
- Apply and be selected for the TimeSlips Trainer Institute
- Complete the Trainer Institute in one of two formats:
– 2-day, in-person session
– 4 × 2-hour virtual sessions
* If you are not certified yet, please stay tuned for more information on how to become certified. We are no longer offering Certifications to individuals.
Cost: $750 per Independent Trainer to attend Training Institute
Compensation: Independent Trainers are 1099 contract workers for TimeSlips. Trainers are compensated 60% of Facilitation Workshop fee, plus reimbursement of any travel expenses.
Over time, you may be eligible to become a TimeSlips Faculty member (training Trainers). More information will become available in 2026.
Please Note: Independent Trainers are selected through an application process. Space in each Trainer Institute is limited.
