Cooking Dinner in Summer
They're cooking dinner,
well, they're trying to cook.
It looks like a little sister and brother maybe.
A mother and two daughters.
The youngest is Sweetheart.
Then Mommy.
And Susan.
They're so cute!
They're thinking "oh my god, why did I get into this?"
The youngest is saying "I gotta think quick!"
It hasn't turned out the way the way it should...
It's burnt!
They're making chicken
or Turkey dinner.
What a good idea
It's making me hungry! Me too!
It's very overdone, it looks burnt.
They're making vegetables.
The weather looks good. It's nice outside.
They're having a good time.
The little one on the side, it might be a boy I'm not sure, he's thinking "Do I have to be here?" Little boys would rather be out playing baseball.
They're cooking as a surprise for mom and dad.
Dad is out at work. He won't be home yet.
You can smell the turkey going through the house.
Mmmmm, I can smell it now!
You can smell warm vegetables.
It's October, when cooking starts.
They're rubbing it out, making it work, with all the things you need.
Zizzzzzzling on the electric stove.
The sisters say "this will never work!"
Yes, but then mom says "you did a good job."
The food is one fire!
Get rid of it, you'll have to throw it all out.
We'll all be hungry together.
Gotta start over.
A new turkey dinner I suppose.
They talk to each other.
"You burnt the bird!"
They're sweating!
Dad came home, and dinner was good after all.
They had ice cream and chocolate chip cookies for dinner.
I'd sure be unhappy if my turkey turned out like that!
But the older one in the middle, she was very calm through it all, making them understand that it's really not that big of a deal in the end.
